ATX Deepseeker gold detector for difficult ground

The Garrett ATX Deepseeker gold detector package combines a pulse-induction ATX with a large Deepseeker search coil for substantial buried targets. This gold detector is intended for mineralised ground and salt-affected sites, but a fixed detection depth cannot be promised for every object or soil.

Gold detector pulse-induction controls

The ATX gold detector provides ground balance, threshold, sensitivity and Iron Check controls described in Garrett’s manual. A gold detector signal should be confirmed with repeat passes and careful ground adjustment; Iron Check is only an aid and cannot prove the composition of a buried target.

Gold detector coil and Deepseeker package

The ATX Deepseeker gold detector package may include a large 15-by-20-inch monoloop coil in addition to a standard coil, depending on the dealer configuration. Confirm every gold detector coil, case, sling, charger and headphone set on this specific order before purchase.

Garrett rates the ATX gold detector itself submersible to about 3 metres when assembled as directed. This gold detector rating describes water resistance, not how far it can locate gold; use compatible audio accessories and keep the coil and connectors maintained according to the manual.
