The Conrad GR3 Plus is a next-generation underground imaging device that detects differences beneath the soil and allows you to perform highly accurate 3D analysis. It enables you to detect, measure, and locate buried magnetic metals (iron/steel), non-magnetic metals (gold/silver/copper), and voids such as tombs, chambers, and tunnels up to a depth of 15 meters.
Designed to be extremely simple and compact, the GR-3 Plus eliminates cables and heavy batteries. Weighing only 600 grams, the user scans the ground while the collected data appears instantly (in real-time) on the screen of an Android or iOS mobile device via Bluetooth. It is truly a multi-purpose device that operates easily on sandy, rocky, or clayey terrain.

How to Update Your GR3 Plus Software
Keeping your GR3 Plus up-to-date is incredibly easy and wire-free.
- Ensure your smartphone or tablet is connected to the internet via Wi-Fi or Cellular Data.
- Open the App Store (for Apple iOS devices) or the Google Play Store (for Android devices).
- Search for the “Conrad GR3 Plus” app. If an update is available, tap “Update”.
- Once the app is updated, turn on your GR-3 Plus unit and connect it to your mobile device via Bluetooth within the app.
- If a new firmware update is available for the main scanner unit, a prompt will appear on your screen allowing you to install it instantly over-the-air (OTA).
