The KS 800 Plus is not a simple metal detector—it is a sophisticated Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) based subsurface imaging system. Manufactured in Germany, it utilizes Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology to continuously emit radar waves and measure reflection frequency shifts.

This technology allows for deep penetration (40-60 meters) and detailed target detection, far superior to simple threshold detection. Whether you are conducting geological surveys, archaeological prospection, or infrastructure mapping, the KS 800 Plus provides a complete 3D volume interpretation of the underground.

Key Features

• 1. FMCW GPR System
  Uses Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave technology to continuously emit radar waves. This is highly effective for depth penetration and detailed target detection. The integrated T/R antenna does not require swapping for different depths.
• 2. 2D Line Scan Mode
  Sweep the unit over the ground to create real-time 2D cross-section scans. This mode is essential for quickly spotting anomalies, cavities, and layers on a linear survey track.
• 3. Grid (Area) Scan Mode
  Supports recording multiple parallel lines to generate a contiguous subsurface dataset. This forms a detailed map of the underground zone, enhancing the detection of shapes and spatial relationships.
• 4. Depth Slice & 3D Visualization
  The device converts radar data into depth slices (horizontal layers at different depths) and 3D volumes. This data is exportable to desktop tools like Voxler for advanced visualization.
• 5. Continuous Recording
  The software automatically saves measurements as you scan. There is no need to revert to a start point or manually trigger recording each time, simplifying the field workflow and reducing error.
