The XPointer 1 model stands out with its user-friendly design and advanced features. To start using the product effectively, simply insert your 9V battery, paying attention to the correct polarity. After making sure that you are away from metal objects, you can turn on the device by pressing the ON/OFF button. When XPointer starts up, two long beeps and one short beep inform the user that the device is ready. As you get closer to the target, the beep and vibration intensify, thus providing more sensitive detection and accurate guidance. In addition to the LED flash to prevent low battery level, the device saves energy by emitting short beeps for 3 minutes after no metal is detected. Among the highlight features of the XPointer is the sensitivity adjustment. This feature allows users to choose between 4 different sensitivity levels. To adjust the sensitivity levels, simply hold down the SELECT button and briefly press the ON/OFF button. It is also possible to change the alarm mode of the device. If you experience chattering with other detectors, you can resolve the problems by using the “noise canceling” function or by selecting channels that are incompatible with your XPointer.
