The Treasure Navigator Ruby is a long-range and area-scanning detection system rather than a conventional single-coil metal detector. It is highly sought after for locating gold, silver, other valuable metals, buried treasure, ancient graves/tombs, tunnels, caves, underground voids, and even water sources.

Unlike traditional shaft-and-coil devices, the Ruby operates on a specialized three-part configuration. This includes a Ground/field unit positioned in the search area to interact with the system, a Secondary/reference unit placed separately to provide a reference point during scanning, and a Handheld control/display unit utilized directly by the operator to select search programs and interpret detection signals.

Through this configuration, the Ruby excels at providing directional and distance tracking, helping operators map out vast terrains and zero in on targets long before initiating precision excavation.
