The EQUINOX 800® offers gold-ready precision and full control over Audio and Target Tones, giving you more insight into every signal. Our proven Multi-IQ® technology allows you to detect across a wide range of targets and soil conditions without switching frequencies. With a groundbreaking new multi-frequency technology, the EQUINOX series redefines metal detecting for every serious enthusiast.
Engineered for full versatility, it features a dedicated Gold Mode and four total Search Modes (Park, Field, Beach, Gold), each with two customizable Search Profiles. Rugged and fully waterproof up to 3 meters (10 ft), it’s ready for fields, beaches, underwater streams, and gold-bearing ground alike.

Why Multi-IQ? Because more performance shouldn’t mean more effort. Minelab’s proven simultaneous multiple frequency technology gives you the power of multiple detectors working for you at the same time. No switching frequencies, no second-guessing. Lower frequencies provide greater depth for larger targets, while higher frequencies are more sensitive to smaller targets. - 2. 6 Switchable Frequencies
In addition to Multi-IQ, you have the freedom to select six single frequencies (4, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 kHz). From deep coins and relics to small, hard-to-hit finds like fine jewelry or gold nuggets, this range lets you fine-tune exactly how your detector responds. - 3. 4 Search Modes (8 Profiles)
PARK: Great for trashy recreational areas. FIELD: Ideal for historical artifacts. BEACH: Perfect for dry/wet sand and underwater.
